PROFILE
I began a two year apprenticeship at Dartington Pottery in 1989 followed by a two year HND course in ceramic design at Falmouth School of Art. I subsequently had several years' experience as a production thrower at Willow Pottery near Bath, before running my own pottery on Feeder Road, Bristol.
The majority of my work is hand-thrown domestic earthenware, decorated with various coloured slips and glazes, high-fired to 1140c to produce dishwasher and ovenproof pots.
I now have my new Pottery and Gallery in the heart of Newlyn, Cornwall.
Still producing the colourful dot and stripe designs, but also now making one-off pieces for the shop, and selling paintings and other works by local artists.
